in part two of the cbffs hoshina x reader series, hoshina mentioned reader should write him letters if there are anything reader cant say to his face and i was wondering if we could get like a moment where that happens im thinking uhh since hoshina is pretty important member of the force maybe he gets too busy/ preoccupied/ spending too much time w work and while reader understands this it doesnt mean she doesnt feel lonely sometimes… maybe add a bit of jealousy w hoshina spending alot more time w/ okonogi or whoever/ whatever scenario if thats up to ur liking and reader just gets distant?? and decides to leave a letter to hoshinas table telling how she feels as she cant say what shes feeling to his face

Vice Captain Hoshina Soshiro of the Third Division was perhaps the second most admired person in Tokyo. 

Not only that, but perhaps he's also the second most busy person in your division.

You learned about that the hard way one day when you found Soshiro conversing with one of the Operations trainees Konomi assigned to him during low-risk missions while on your way to the Captain's office. You just wrapped up from a mission yourself when you nearly walked in on him and the young but pretty girl. She had a neat look to her person and evidently took everything he said to heart, jotting down notes as he spoke to her about pointers you had no idea about. If you remembered correctly, too, she must be one of Konomi's best and brightest since she had no issue assigning her to the Vice Captain, of all people. 

"Well? Did you get all of that, Tateyama? It's a lot to consider, but Okonogi-chan thinks you're capable enough."

"Yes, boss! I-I mean sir!" The Operations trainee, Tateyama, eagerly nodded her assent as she closed her notepad and slipped it back into the pocket of her white coat. 

"Do you have any other questions?"

"D-Do you have a girlfriend, Vice Captain?!"

"I'm engaged to Platoon Leader Koganei," Soshiro replied with his usual cheer. "You must not know about it since we've just recently announced it."

"O-Oh, I see! One of our Platoon Leaders…" 

"She and I are childhood friends, too."

"Ah! And childhood friends, too!" The younger girl remarked with a look of complete surprise on her face. "How romantic!" 

You left them to their conversation after hearing just how harmless it was and decided to pay no thought to it afterwards. A young girl with a silly crush on your fiancé was nothing to feel threatened about. More than anything, it was rather flattering to know just how well-sought-after Soshiro was and that he still chose you out of all the people he could be with.

But then you realised the young girls around him may not be as harmless as you initially thought.

The young Operations trainees were taking a break from weapons calibrations when you overheard their conversation at the mess hall that afternoon. You didn't mean to, of course. You and Tae were there for a break yourselves, but something in the tone of their voices made you do a double-take.

"I can't believe you actually asked Vice Captain Hoshina if the rumours were true!" 

"I-I know! It's too bad that they were. That means he's off-limits," said the girl you recognised as Tateyama from the other day. "B-But that doesn't mean we can't daydream about him a little now, can we? He's just so cool!"

"Exactly! And he's got a cute side, too. Maybe if we show him just how good we are, he might cave in and even consider enterta—"

"Well, that's not a good w— O-Otome-chan?!"

Your fellow Platoon Leader was unable to stop you from marching towards their table, where you unceremoniously slammed down your favourite iced drink.

"P-Platoon Leader K—!" The girls hastily rose to their feet to meet your smiling yet furious gaze. "We—"

"You're… Tateyama, aren't you? The one assigned to the Vice Captain," you said, not even allowing them to speak. "And you are?"

"A-Akabane, ma'am," the other girl stammered.

"My, you must think so little of Vice Captain Hoshina if you think he'll consider entertaining little brats like you," you stated with a wicked grin on your face. "How… funny. I seem to recall the Vice Captain telling you that he was already engaged, Tateyama. But that doesn't bother you at all, does it?"

"I-I…"

"This isn't high school, children. We aren't in the business of stealing other women's boyfriends here. Even more so that he's engaged. We're all about saving lives and subjugating Kaiju here. If you're really as smart as Konomi-chan says you are, you'll know what's more important."

How scary, Tae thought to herself, though she couldn't blame you for reacting that way, too. Then again, these kids are way too brazen!

Captain Ashiro Mina of the Third Division, a pillar of strength and a beacon of light for the people of Tokyo, has been reduced to matchmaking duties because she's had just about enough.

Because two of her best officers were acting like idiots.

She was supportive of your relationship with Soshiro at first, but now that you were unable to coexist in the same space whenever the Vice Captain was around, she thinks it's borderline ridiculous. You couldn't even deliver reports without glaring at him wherever your eyes met! (And you admit that it's totally unprofessional on your part.) Mina is forgiving, but your situation begs the question now.

Can loving someone really fry your brain that much?

She heard about how you scolded the younger Operations trainees and even had Konomi apologising for their "brazen" behaviour, as Tae also mentioned.  

Soshiro's not-so-subtle teasing and flirting aren't helping your case, either. Everyone knew he liked throwing around little endearments, but the way he spoke to you was different— his voice hushed to a whisper and a string of endearments he'd rather not let anyone else hear—and it made sense to the rookies that you were a blubbering mess afterwards.

But they all noticed how you avoided the Vice Captain like he had the plague even though he just whispered yet another light-hearted sweet nothing to you. It was clear to them that you were annoyed, but the way your lips quivered in embarrassment gave you away and you might as well just combust on the spot.

"I'm acting like a fool…"

The final straw was when you were taking your bath late in the night. Mina realised you were purposely avoiding everyone else by volunteering to be the last one to take a bath and mop up the floors. You thought you'd be all alone by then, but you were shell-shocked by the dark silhouette that appeared behind you as you groaned to yourself. 

"C-Captain! I-It's late! Wh—"

Your Captain held her belongings in one hand while the other had a finger gun pointed at you. "You need to tell me if you're acting like a fool for a reason."

Soshiro has had just about enough of your attitude lately.

Your jealous outburst was cute when he first heard about it, but the Operations trainees wanted nothing to do with him anymore after that. And he couldn't have that happening since they had to practise analysing vitals and situations and calibrating weapons with someone. He will have to pass on the task to the Platoon Leaders, but he needed to speak with them— and you. 

You avoided him as much as you possibly could and everyone else picked up on it now because no one else spoke up whenever you two were in close proximity, as if they were waiting and anticipating for the two of you to reconcile. You didn't mention anything about leaving Tachikawa, too, since he found out earlier this week that your platoon was assigned under Ryo and Tae in the meantime.

"I gave Koganei an assignment. She's at Ariake," Mina told her Vice Captain as he inquired about your whereabouts. "She… didn't want me to tell you about it."

"Ah, I see," came Soshiro's flat response. "I apologise for draggin' the entire division in our…"

"She'll be back tomorrow. When she arrives, I'll need you two back here in my office to discuss something," she stated. "In the meantime, Hoshina, have you considered organising the files at your office?"

Letters were among the many things you and Soshiro shared, especially when you went to France to further your fencing skills. For the young man who loved to read and devoured nearly everything that had words on it, your letters to him were always a source of delight. When you were still in France, it took around 10 days for your letters to reach each other, so you always had something new to read almost every week.  

He was utterly elated when he found yet even more letters from you addressed to him, though you never sent them his way because of how candid they were. It pleased him to no end to find out that his feelings for you were reciprocated. In your letters, he could trust you to give voice to the very depths of your emotions, even more now after he told you to write to him whenever you wanted to. 

On his office desk sat a single letter in your familiar and favourite cream stationery, and it was only then he realised that his Captain's cryptic comment was meant to be a sign of sorts pointing to his most favourite means of communication with you, his most favourite person. The letter sat atop a number of document folders that had to be sorted out, but he'd figure those out later. 

"To Hoshina Soshiro-副隊長,

I suppose I'm still at headquarters by the time you find this letter. I remember you once told me that I could write to you whenever I could, whenever I wanted to, especially if there were things on my mind that I couldn't speak out loud. It's embarrassing having to write something like this, but I feel like I can be honest with you here.

It was only recently that I realised that Vice Captain Hoshina Soshiro of the Third Division is perhaps the second most admired person in Tokyo. I say second because Captain Ashiro is still at the top of the list. Imagine that— your fiancé, one of the most admired persons in the city. The whole of Japan, even, now that I think about it.

Truth be told, I can't handle the way other women speak about you. And it's beyond my control. You are just so amazing like that— And have you heard the way they talk about your body??? You've been objectified so many times now, I might as well burn down the base—

I know I must have been a brat this past week, but I promise you that my antics end now. Captain Ashiro scolded me in the bathroom sometime last week and told me to sort things out with you. She even said you must hand over my remaining brain cell because I clearly wasn't thinking straight these past few days. 

I apologise for being such an insufferable person. I hope we can talk once I return from Ariake. The Captain of the First Division requested a blade master for close-quarters training, so Captain Ashiro sent me, claiming I am the second best Tachikawa can offer. You are, of course, a knife she can't afford to lose. 

She also told me to beat up Captain Narumi in her stead, so there is that.

I'll bring back some Mont Blanc from that shop at Jiyugaoka. Let's have them with coffee and tea when I get back.

Soshiro was nothing but happy to see you back at Tachikawa a day later, the box of Mont Blanc you promised him nearly dropped in the process when he welcomed you back with a hug. He didn't let go despite your struggling and urging and whimpering at how embarrassing this was. 

How could he let you go when you were holding him just as tight in the first place? 

You both had barely set down your salutes when your Captain welcomed you into her office with a simple declaration, an order you couldn't refuse. 

"I need you two to go on a vacation for me."

Trust, 6 months and Physical touch

A/N: Hi everyone! I decided to write another fic for fun so enjoy! This idea came out of the blue teehee

Wanderer x reader (no gender specified, only "you")

Fluff, comfort, Wanderer is recovering from his trauma of physical touch, soft wanderer,not proofread

You knew what happened to him. Why wouldnt you?

He trusted you with his life, and he knew you'd accept him, even though a part of him fears that you wouldnt. But you stayed either way.

Physical touch wasnt a usual occurence with wanderer, its almost as if it happens once in a blue moon. From subtle pinkie linking when walking around the lush green forest in sumeru to quick pecks on the cheek before leaving your shared home and starting the day. You were patient and understanding, you always have been.

Wanderer felt like he owed you something, anything no... EVERYTHING. You turned his life around and yet he still cant seem to hold your hand longer than 10 seconds, and cant even handle a hug for more than 3 seconds despite being together for 6 months already. Youve always been so kind, it scared him a little.

One evening, wanderer walked to your room and stood near the doorframe.

"Dear? Whats wrong? Why are you standing there?" Ripping your gaze away from the book you were reading and setting it down near the bed side table. Wanderer hesitated for a bit, wanting to say something and yet the words doesnt seem to come out of his mouth at all.

You understood, as you always have. Standing up from your bed you walked towards him "somethings bothering you, you dont have to tell me. We can sit together by my bed and I'll hold your hand" your gaze softened and you smiled a bit when he nodded to your suggestion.

The puppet walked behind you as you both sat down at the edge of your bed. It was a comfortable silence between you both. It was times like this that made wanderer appreciate you more and more. Without words, you always knew if something was wrong. When his pride wont allow words to spill, his body language will do the talking. And you knew.

After a little while, you felt a gentle yet hesitant hand slither towards your own hand and held it lightly, as if it wad afraid to scare you off. Of course you understood and held his hand in the same manner but only, with a slightly tigher grip. (This is his first time initating physical touch eith you) As if to reassure him that you are there with him at that very moment, and you arent leaving anytime sooner.

He tightened his grip on your hand more and finally made eye contact, one that was filled with fear, confusion and a hint of comfort. "Im... Im sorry I never hold you for more than a few seconds. I just.. Im..."

You pressed your forehesd on his "You dont owe me anything dear, Im doing this because I love you. I understand what you went through, and we can hesl together. Im never leaving you"

"You better not be fucking with me." He laughed slightly while shaking his head.

You smiled at his small laugh "Of course not love"

With those simple words, words he has heard a million times ever since he was with you, his heart finally believes in you just a bit, enough to let himself break loose and embraced you, and he made it seem like he wasntt going to let go for a while either.

6 months of trust for a hug in the night sky, with the breeze blowing softly was worth it. And you'd spend 6 months more if it means he'll trust you completely to be able to hold you without remembering the past.

November Save MEGA summary (part 8)

here it is... the penultimate chapter of november save, its been a long journey guys and im glad you all joined me on it. this was definetly my fave family and one that was really important to me because I made steve and june during a time in my life where things were very uncertain & I was going through a lot of changes, so they were pretty much my one contsant for awhile, anyways here are the photos!

so steve and june are still on their little fitness journey together, its a thing that steve has always been into but june wanted to join him cuz she got super into yoga

then as usual they couldnt keep it in their pants

june also got promoted to judge finally, she basically switched career branches after she left Landgraab Industries, but I didnt have any pics of her leaving... but now she works at the local court, and doesnt have to commute to the city anymore which she prefers

then it was Winterfest 🎁 and I decked the halls

lucky elijah got gifted a telescope but I don't remember what we got adelaide

adelaide spent new years with her childhood friend peter (luke's step son) in san myshuno I think she graduated from highschool by now but again, ive lost the photos from her prom... idk what happened to those

the bheeda girls were there too of course, theyre kind of like cousins to adie since shes very close with them even though theyre not even related AHAHAHA

she also met a mysterious stranger named jolene who she later kissed at a house party, she kind of stopped seeing landon because the two of them would always fight, and I think she just had enough

steve and moose cuteness

and a makeover for elijah in prepartion for his YA life stage (he sometimes wears contact lenses now)

THEN a major event in steve's life, but he spoke with june and she persuaded him to finally reconnect with his younger sister, Claire, who he has kind of been no contact with since he was a teenager (mostly because he cut off contact with his parents)

later in spring, the weather started to get nice, so steve and june threw a BBQ / get together with all their friends in the yard

sita and elijah also reconnected as they hadnt really seen eachother since they were toddlers and sita quite liked him :eyes:

then when everyone was gone, steve & june enjoyed some quality time together in the new pool...

meanwhile elijah and sita got cozy and 'watched' a movie teehee

ALSO big news from Raj FINALLY he couldnt make it to the BBQ cuz he and julia just had TWINS

so since those are the common reactions too it, the way it affected Rusu was to be expected...but the least expected was for them to 'live' through that. especially with how unstable it was yknow? so for how strong it was, the moments of the elixir being dropped and spreading onto Rusu in the last panel it was pretty much slowly turning Rusu into its new host, melting him down radioactively to join the ooze is contents.

Maruru was a silly prankster as a kid so he expected this to be slightly a funny prank (too him) thus causing the unexpected events but for how he reacted it was like his path was chosen for him....although for Rusu instead of being promised a role along with being noticed and his brother being proud he was erased from existence, especially here reason they dont see him is because at his beginning stage he can barely hold his natural form (think of it like liquidy kinetic sand that gets sturdier each time) so of course they mistake him for whats left of the liquids out of the vial....

but ofc Crazeze notices there's more of it than usual, but shrugs it off and places the left over contents into a bigger bottle (which you can see in a few posts i did kinda referancing it hehehe)

even in the orikero rumble i added him cause why not eheheh

also i shall also add a bit more explaination ESPECIALLY on the emblem since i added a bit of a brief history in the comments in one of the comic parts!

so this brings us too NOW, with Rusu now being T:21 being alone for who knows how long and their family and friends thinking he just dissapeared out of the blue one day (but Copupu is still looking for him same with Crazeze as they both are trying to find what the fuck happened)

so now T:21 is just a body of insanity and anger plus trying to fit the pieces on who n what he is, along with using the last moments seeing Maruru as the last thing he saw (thus making it their one goal on seeing their 'friend') which just brings us to later comics that i may or may not make sometime later TEEHEE

but i tend to post bits n pieces of story in doodles so who knows you mightve seen it :3

but actually i mean it tho that she does lie by omission. i tagged this as the musical but in terms of the show, i dont think she actually lies in that one, especially as far as how most actors in that role interpret her character.

but book mrs de winter?? my goodness,,,, when i made this post the scene i was really thinking was the prologue for the most part, when shes describing her life living with maxim at that hotel after the fire. there's this kind of way where shes saying shes content but like against her descriptions about the kind of glamour that manderley had, their quaint life together feels so,,, dreary, like a half existence, not really a life not really in death yknow? if u read in between the lines at this listless kind of development of setting, shes saying all these things about living an ordinary life but in a tone where shes not satisfied with it at all,,,

this quote from the the top of chapter 2 is like one that gets referenced a lot but people never quote the whole thing, she says "we have conquered ours, or so we believe." like first of all who the fuck says "or so we believe" in a statement where shes trying to justify or rationalise the ordeal that they went through and the outcome of it (being this dreary life) as a net positive,,, like why are u being so ominous now,,, and then the next line "the devil does not ride with us" like babe,,, ur not being honest with yourself,,,, u just said "oh we conquered ours, jk unless,,, but we did yknow," she has such a flip floppy way of framing things that makes u question which is it really? i think its a testament to that idea of rebecca being a mirror and finding what you want to see, and for me i see this person desperately trying to frame something that is still deeply affecting her to this present day as if it doesnt. like someone else who might wish to feel the same way might only see the oh we've conquered it and not pick up on the unease of or so we believe, just that the devil does not ride us anymore. to a reader who wants to see that, they will interpret this quote as a triumph, which often is usually the case.

like she says that the unrest has "mercifully stilled" but at the drop of a hat "the past is still too close to us." their situation remains in this precarious balance, if they go too far in any direction they endanger this so called peace,,, this is not a life that has progressed beyond what happened,,,

and the cherry on top is this beautifully long gorgeous passage that is EXPOSING HER for her lies about being happy in this small hotel half-existence with maxim. u just have to read all of it actually to understand, and if u dont, well,,,

(i also annotated it; red is the negative aspects, blue is the postive/their ordinary life, and green is when she starts talking about manderley and her love of that place)

i feel like its so easy to attribute the love of manderley as being primarily held by danny or by rebecca or by maxim even, but the person who loves manderley most in this novel (yes by virtue of it being a first person pov but also bc its true) is mrs de winter. i highlighted in my physical copy of rebecca ever single time she mentioned manderley in a very flattering or loving way and its basically the whole book. she loves this castle, this place is the epitome of all her aspirations; becoming a lady, rising in class status, the image of a perfect marriage a perfect home a perfect family, manderley holds all of that in her heart so when she talks about manderley she exposes herself so deeply if you are willing to listen to her.

that part about her saying "colour and scent and sound, rain and the lapping water, even the msits of autum and the smell of the flood tide," these things that quite truly colours our quality of life are "secret indulgences" implies that these inherent basic things that make life beautiful are things she cant access without rocking the seemingly still peace that they have. especially with the way that maxim reacts to it and how she picks up on that. she has to rely on the dull and the boring monotonies to continue that so called peace even though thats not whats personally fulfilling for her,,, the line where she says "we prefer to store up our excitement; the result of a cricket match played many days ago means much to us" ,,, doesnt that sound so sad? theyre not even living in the moment anymore, if they did i think it would kill them to be quite honest.

so many of the positive/ordinary lifestyle descriptions are weaved against these pitiful sounding statements and its truly like,,, why stitch it like this? if daphne du maurier wanted us to feel like this was the life that was better, the one that you should choose or idealise, than the chaos of manderley why did she write it like this? why not just say that she was happy, why add those hints of melancholy?

and because of that i feel like shes lying by omission. its like all these things shes saying are half truths. its true that ordinary or even dull days are better than chaotic ones because youre not pained by such hurtful circumstances but at what cost? the joy and excitement of life? its like all of her descriptions of their life after the fire are backhanded compliments,,,, im just so curious about the other half that she isnt saying,,, when she doesnt say what shes implying it just feels like what she did say was a lie by omitting the rest of it.

does that make sense? do u get it?

THANK YOU FOR FEEDING MEEEE.... fellow color symbolism enjoyer. you understand me. so, yeah, for the uninitiated, gold is the color i associate with my boy eden the most. it's The Eden Color. there's a few different reasons for that, but mostly it comes down to me associating the color yellow with pride, which is eden's sin, both his greatest flaw and in many ways a defining character trait. my dm and i have been planning for eden's design to change over the course of the campaign to slowly and slowly incorporate more and more gold to parallel him coming closer and closer to self-actualizing, to living his truest self and making peace with himself. (side-note, they also told me recently that i've forgotten a part of his design that's already changed! the nails on his right hand are permanently gold. i love it)

TEEHEE okay you're getting a three-for-one because i wanna talk a bit more about each of these. - i haven't developed the post-apocalyptic road trip wip in a hot minute, but one part that's still near and dear to my heart is gaia's character arc and what it represents. i'm a big fan of characters who've done horrible shit and have to contend with that and make the choice to be better. gaia, without going too deep into spoilers, is in large part the reason the apocalypse is on its way. and, yes, they regret this very deeply! and much of it wasn't their choice! but they have blood on their hands and it's up to them to decide to fix this. (side-note, gaia having blood magic is meant to be literal symbolism for the blood on their hands. idc if this is too on the nose, i'm having fun.) - a modern ghost story (my storm chasing beloveds) is kinda both on the backburner and not lately, because i've been developing it more and more in bits and pieces in my brain. but one part i'm excited about is roach's character arc as represented by their weight. roach is probably my biggest example of showing a character's positive growth through them gaining weight. they start the story with a host of severe body dysmorphia that parallels other self image issues they've lived with for years, and over the course of the story as they accept themself and take steps towards *healing*, they gain weight. and it's scary at first, but it's a sign of good things coming for them. - and my beloved storage facility horror wip... so i imagine it's not a surprise that a lot of the characters and plot threads in that wip are based on things i've either dealt with or heard about happening at work, usually taken to some kind of logical extreme. but one example i don't think i've talked about publicly is this character named lynette, the previous manager who worked at the facility and disappeared under mysterious circumstances. she's partly there to establish more of a mystery at the start and a *reason* for people to be afraid of the sentient building, but she's also highkey inspired by the fact that i keep getting blamed for mistakes made by people who haven't worked here in YEARS lmao. so yes this is stress relief, kinda.

ALSO EDEN AND PARTIES... i'm so glad you asked because i do in fact have an answer! and it's a no, generally. he's not opposed to them and often *does* have fun on the rare occasions he goes to them, but for the most part he sees them as kinda beneath him. (at least, that's what he says.) i actually wrote a quick outline a while ago for a short story about the one (1) party eden went to while he was studying at university... tl;dr it ended poorly and eden decided that he's never doing that again, after a shitty encounter with one of his classmates. as for what he's LIKE at parties, eden's good at being very sociable and chatty, and he likes talking to people and being the center of attention. but he's not the "life of the party" by any means, and he prefers not to drink most of the time. he has an image to maintain, after all.

im thinking a lot of thoughts sporadically rn but OBVIOUSLY the iconic duos fuse at least once, ie clingy duo, emerald duo, (wildcard but) foolish and eret probably fused back in the day in their shared backstory to commit the Atrocities

em duo and happy duo tend to casually fuse pretty often(when the Horrors arent happening) and i think it would be CRIMINAL not to make em duo watermelon tourmaline. for happy duo tho, i was thinking black opal with primarily blue accents for their fusion, but then i remembered that i made bad a black opal with primarily red accents so i cant do that

clingy duo's easy answer would be bloodstone. so im gonna go with that one, and they usually fuse to punch things good. bee duo on the other hand, i dont think they fuse ever. its just not something they do

the schlatt/quackity fusion would be so fun to play around with theyre so awful for each other and i eat it up(the fiances have also fused and it was much better)

OHH i think maybe MAYBE in the butcher army arc when they go to techno's house, quackity makes them all fuse to fight him (he kicks their ASS) and that sorta put ranboo off fusing in a sorta "hmmm no thank you" kinda way

going back to tommy for a sec, i think MOST of his fusions are for power. like if they need to get the upper hand in a battle he'll ask to fuse but its not a common thing for him. schlatt/dream also do that but like in an asshole kinda way

i think wilbur also doesnt fuse. like an extension of his early l'manburg ideals but more personal "youre free to fuse but its not my cup of tea"

doomsday trio fused once but phil wasnt a big fan of it

this is NOT fusion related but i keep thinking about it SGFHFSDJ that one phil stream where kristin was walking around as him and got day drunk(i think about it often) i think that was her sorta 'white diamond'ing him, temporarily taking control of his body from a remote location to experience everyday gem life(ofc this was voluntary unlike white diamond's)

now WEAPONS

techno has the classic rose shield but thats about it for Gem Specific weapons, he has his sword, but he forged that himself, and of course, later down the line ranboo gifts him his axe which he ALSO made himself and everybody is shocked by this

phil has a scythe and it CAN shatter(angel of death teehee)

tommy, tubbo, ranboo, wilbur and probably a few others dont have traditional weapons. for the most part they have lights or gem powers, but no weapons as theyre not built for combat theyre built for other things!(the sword phil stabbed wilbur with was a rejuvenator that wilbur owned, but that also was not his 'Gem Weapon'. he also never used it ever and that certainly has implications)

oooooooo ok! this is stuff i havent thought about a whole lot so its great to be asked about! :)

break - i think something that would make him break would be realizing just how constantly alone he is. like seriously his best and only friend ever has been a cat that he accidentally murdered with a chainsaw. thats yet to come, but hes gotten pretty close with the whole cat stuff. would totally just be sobbing and screaming and wailing, probably would destroy anything he could get his hands on at the moment. just. really extreme from all those ✨bottled up emotions✨

nightmare - he usually has nightmares about running away from home and what would happen if he had gotten caught (which is a little bit of his past that i havent really gone into yet). also more recently nightmares about ruffles, of course. unfortunately he doesnt really cope with it (which isnt fucking healthy WOOO) definitely wouldnt tell anyone because of the whole tough and regal act he puts on lmao

secret - id have to say his biggest secret is that his whole act is like. almost totally fake and/or exaggerated (the being a bitch part is all him though). its all just how he copes with a crippling inferiority complex and the knowledge that he basically has no control over anything that happens to him because being the villain in other peoples lives gives him something to have control over. teehee :)

firstly, ill direct you to my big ramble about him, which contains a lot of key details on what i like about him! all his dialogue is on his wiki page since theres not much of it, and you can also just find playthroughs (there are plenty of no commentary ones) if you want to see that whole segment of the game without playing to it!

secondly, since im being asked to elaborate…

he just has a lot of personality for his short appearance! hes different from a lot of other antagonists because he doesnt really have world conquering aspirations or “im going to kill everybody as revenge for x” or whatever, he just…. wants to enjoy himself. theres a sense that he thinks what he wants should also be fun for others, like he believes that, but even if that werent true he wouldnt really care because he doesnt see other life as being as sapient or “relevant” as himself, if you know what i mean.

also, hes canonically a fanboy of mega man. he specifically states that he loves mega mans fights in particular. he IDs him on sight. people dont mention that but its so funny like HELP????

like, he both comes off as a selfish and callous person but also doesnt feel as villainous as other characters, if only for his lack of real malice. ive compared him to “kid pouring water on an ant hill” and i stand by that. is it a little mean? yeah, maybe, but theres also not a real comprehension of the harm being caused when it happens because theres a failure to sympathize with something that feels so small to you.

plus theres the whole thing with the mu metal, which could very easily be expanded on. please expand on it. and the complete “l+ratio+fight your rival forever” he takes being blown up with. and what is he in regard to the other em beings? (personally, i headcanon him as an xm-ian. because. sirius xm radio. teehee)

basically i just think hes really funny and different as a villain for this series and i think there are a lot of directions you can take his character.

very attentive to her appearance, IT MATTERS A LOT for some unknown reason teehee. genuinely doesnt like it when people give her tips about things that she knows what to do. like if its the first time, she’ll forgive you!! you didn’t know… if it happens again whether accidental or not you’re automatically in her hitlist.

usually quiet and doesnt talk at all, could say hes selectively mute but really isnt. he doesnt speak unless someone forces him to in a way he’ll follow or only he when chooses to.

quite shy + has social battery, can get exhausted/very pissy once socialized way too much — practically naive, doesnt understand a lot of things in life; generally stuff like social media trends or made up slangs/terms… and a lot more that requires social interaction common sense etc. #bchesastupidlittleshutin. (but for what reason? you dont know. at his will? you also dont know..)
